Cunningham started the fight throwing punches but Holanda quickly scored a trip-takedown that put him in Cunningham’s half-guard. Holanda worked some punches and was able to pass into full mount. Cunningham escaped and got back to his feet where the two fighters traded punches with Holanda getting the better of the exchange. Holanda dropped Cunningham with a right hand and tried to finish him with some ground and pound but Cunningham got back to his feet. Holanda dropped his opponent again and hit him with several punches. Many ringside were calling the fight to be stopped, even Holanda looked to referee Jerry Bolin to stop the fight which he eventually did. Fabio Holanda scores a first round (4:14) TKO victory.
